My name is Carol Toohill Munsch and I am pleased that you are taking the time to visit with us.  My  husband Bill and I currently share our home with three wonderful Ridgebacks and two very patient cats.  We live in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin just outside of Milwaukee.

Our first Ridgeback, Willy (Am/Can CH Riveroads Willy Rohk N Rohl, CGC) came to us at 8 weeks of age in 1998 and we have been in love with these amazing dogs ever since.

In addition to being wonderful companions, our dogs have been campaigned in the show ring, attaining AKC conformation championships.  We have also had fun with our dogs dabbling in lure coursing, obedience and agility.

I have been a very active member of the ridgeback community.  I was a founding member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Wisconsin (RRCOW) and served as its first president.  I have also served as vice president and director.  To learn more about RRCOW, please visit the website at www.rrcow.org.  I have also served as a director on the Board of  The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States.

I am currently the editor of "The Ridgeback", the official publication of The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS).  RRCUS is the Ridgeback parent club to the American Kennel Club.  The magazine is a total labor of love and is an awesome visual and educational tool about the Ridgeback.   To learn more about RRCUS, please visit the website at www.rrcus.org.  Also check out the new RRCUS health website at www.ridgebackhealth.org.

I am proud to say that I have finished in the Top Twenty in the RRCUS Owner/Handler Program for the two years in a row (2005/2006).  This program recognizes owners who show their own dogs in conformation and obedience competitions.  I have not had anything to "show" for the past couple of years but look forward to showing a puppy in 2008/2009.

Prior to entering the world of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I competed and trained horses.  Working in dressage and combined training, I owned several horses and was active in regional and national equestrian clubs and organizations.

I am a healthcare executive working in Milwaukee.  Bill is an Electrician working for Pieper Electric. We both have careers that we love and help support our dog habit!

Although Bill is a huge dog lover, he is not a dog show lover and so while Carol is off with the hounds, Bill spends his time working on his classic 1966 Dodge Charger and his radio controlled airplanes.

Both Carol and Bill enjoy gardening, cooking and are big fans of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers (Carol is an alum)!
