Text Box: A Singularly Unique Experience
We are so pleased to introduce you to Wilson.  He is truly one of a kind.
He was our first home bred, our first champion, and the first dog Carol has ever finished!  He was handled exclusively by his owner/breeder to his championship.  His first two points came from the puppy classes but every point after that came from the Bred by Exhibitor class.  He placed in his class at the Perry, Georgia National Specialty and finished shortly after that.  His second major came by going BOB over several special from the Bred By Class.  Showing him was a thrill for the most part, however he is on the very small end of the standard for male RRs, which wasn't always easy in the land of the giants.
What makes Wilson so unique in many ways is that he was a singleton puppy, the only whelp in his litter, which is actually an extremely rare event in large dog breeding.  Being a singleton presented us and him with challenges, trying to learn behavior that is often learned through interaction with littermates.
